We’re Coming to Inglewood Open House!!

We want to meet the families of Inglewood, get to know our students and families, and prepare you for the upcoming Black Family University Stage 1 program, which will be held at the district headquarters.

The program is free for all families, but space is limited to just 30 attendees. To register your interest in joining this program, please complete the form linked below.

BFU Stage 1: Building the Black Family Foundation is a parent and family training program that covers the fundamentals of student advocacy, financial literacy, healing emotional trauma, self-care, Black history, IEPs, navigating the school system, and setting S.M.A.R.T. goals.

Each session includes free food, resources, a prize raffle, and take-home materials. All registered attendees will also receive a BFU T-shirt.

The program culminates with an on-stage graduation celebrating the commitment and accomplishments of participating families. The most committed and engaged parents will also have the opportunity to be selected as BFU Ambassadors.
